Note: This series of Grounded Foundational articles, we address various topics in a way that will bring new readers up to speed. After reading this one, for example, almost every one of the site’s other articles that relate to Politics will be understandable.
You won’t find detailed, unending political articles on RightNerve.com even though politics is sometimes discussed. When principles of absolute right and absolute wrong are in play, discussing minutia does little but waste time and derail the bigger picture.
For example, you’ll rarely find articles here about something evil the United Nations did this week. The United Nations is a vehicle for the destruction of freedom and Christianity all over the globe, starting with America. Discussing specific wicked acts they do each day wastes time and resources. Everything the United Nations does is wicked.
Battling the UN’s very existence is far more productive than trying to stop or alert the public to individual acts of treason against America and Christians daily.
Trampling the Minority
By the way, majority rule isn’t our favored method of governance. A majority who tramples the minority seems to be a losing proposition for just about any society or group. That includes America. Why Christians think Democracy is such a great idea astounds us at RightNerve.com given that true Christians who know the Bible are in the extreme minority in this nation.
Note: We’re often asked for alternatives if a Democracy/Republic is such a bad idea. We’ll certainly offer that along the way. The battle, however, is trying to convince Christians of the obvious fact that what we have is a failure by any measurement of America today. It’s not that we have a negative opinion of the country – although we certainly have a negative opinion of the way it is handled at every level of Government – but it’s a Biblical reality that Christians will always be in the minority. Jamestown they were not, until others saw how good America was and joined in, ultimately making the majority rule over the Christians.
Christians – What is Your Problem?
Why do you prefer a Republic or democracy anyway? Yes, I know, the government schools drilled it into your minds for twelve years that a Republic is good but have you ever considered what God says in His Word? He makes it clear that the majority is most often wrong. The Bible tells us that “narrow is the way.”
More important, fellow Christians, the Bible makes it clear that most people are going to hell. Do you want control of the nation you live in to be in the hands of that hell-bound majority who hates your very existence?
Then you should re-think your love-affair of Republics and Democracies.
Christians who say they support freedom of speech and therefore want to silence what I’m saying here about democracies and republics: Would you rather I “love it or leave it?” That’s the sentiment Patrick Henry faced right before they murdered him for wanting to improve this nation.
Note: For those already yelling at their screens, “We don’t have a Democracy, we have a Republic!!!” let us explain reality to you. A Republic is nothing but a slow Democracy. Instead of the majority voting to slaughter babies for example, the majority votes for a Representative who voters to slaughter babies. The end result of a Republic is only slightly slower than the same end result of a Democracy.
