A lot of people wrongly think that all vegan diets are unhealthy.
Let me assure you, they aren’t as long as you follow a few simple rules:
- Always add grass-fed, pastured beef, or bison, or pork, or wild Alaskan salmon, or sardines, or free-range chicken to each meal.
- If you have nothing in #1’s list available, add free-range chicken eggs to your meal. Keep the yolks. If anything, remove the whites as they are basically filler for the healthy yolks.
- Every few meals, take the bones from #1’s meat and make broth from it to sip between meals. (Bonus Vegan Diet bonus: Add a lot of sea salt to your broth.)
I’ve been eating a healthy Vegan diet now for years. I doubled-down more than two years ago to source almost 100% of our meat products to pastured (or wild-caught in water) and every blood marker is improved and I’m down 29% to the weight I was in college.
Go, thou, and do likewise.
