Why do those on the right constantly defend the right to own guns? It is foolishness. As foolish as defending the rich for working hard.
To solve the ever-increasing gun violence problem, within seconds of a story breaking that the gun advocates such as the NRA, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (the least-compromising of all the national gun groups), NSSF, the Appleseed Project, and the rest would do the following:
Blanket the media with demands that gun control laws be eliminated and the regulation of firearms be abolished in every venue in the country. In addition, no statement should ever be made again without the following: “And we strongly encourage every family listening to us right now purchase more firearms and ammunition and learn to use them properly.”
Get it? Stop defending guns. Instead, go on the immediate offensive.
To do that, while sending their condolences to the families and promising to do everything in their power to stop the shedding of innocent blood in the future by an elimination of the controls for law-abiding citizens, they would control the debate.
Controlling the debate is the only reason that the left has power in this country. They know how to control the debate.
The right weakens and is afraid, many times, to address a problem sensibly and head on.
More Gun Sales, More Gun Training, Fewer Dead Innocents, Fewer Live Criminals
I repeat – The voices for guns should immediately encourage every household in the listening audience to increase their purchase of guns and ammunition and, above all else, get training on how to defend themselves in today’s environments.
The Same Thinking Should Be Applied Elsewhere
Those on the right should, at every opportunity in the media, praise the men and women who worked hard to start businesses and who are wealthy. They should praise those people’s accomplishments at every turn and demand publicly and constantly that the regulations and the vicious anti-job tax laws be repealed tonight by midnight so those who know how to prosper and create jobs can do more of it.
I never hear one public figure praising the rich.
This is a mistake.
Admiring the wealthy isn’t as immediately life-saving as strongly promoting the purchase of guns after innocents are murdered, but it is a close second.
Promoting the right to own guns will have virtually the same result as promoting the wealthy in this country and teaching young people to admire them instead of envying them.
Both work to create a safer, stable, and free nation. The first 200 years of our history prove that. Crime reduces a country’s wealth. An axiom to that is that lowering a country’s wealth increases crime!
The Only Correct Response to School Shootings and High Taxes
We need to stop defending gun ownership and stop defending the rich. Go on the offensive – the very best defense.
Instead, we need to go on the offensive now. With the very next person you see, you should promote and admire gun ownership. And throw in accolades for the wealthy too. They do go hand-in-hand to create a safer, wealthier nation.
